Windows Drive Caching

Is there any consensus on the pros and cons of enabling Windows Drive Caching, which claims to give “Better performance” ?

The issues that may cloud/clarify my situation are:

[]I have a 128Mb mSATA drive plugged into the base of my Drobo 5D
]My entire system, including the 5D is on a UPS which runs at least 20 minutes

I’ve been running my Drobo V2 for years with Write Caching enabled.

I can see both sides of this argument
