hi pat,
im not sure which model you have but dashboard might possibly be able to show you, though in case not, then i guess mapping to each share and simply selecting all files/folders in the root of that share and doing a rightclick file properties should work for overall share space.
and in windows explorer for example a quick search for . should be able to list all files for you, and then you could just click on the results sorting for sorting by file size to fine the largest culprits
If you’re on Windows, TreeSize Free is a great little utility for checking out the size of your partitions/shares on the Drobo, as well as offering the ability to easily check out individual folder sizes within each share (and subfolders within those, etc.) Super easy to use - just point it at your Drobo (either DAS or NAS, works either way), and it quickly looks at the folder structures and gives you a very readable graph, way more quick and useful than anything native Windows does.
thats good to hear, i dont think i tried that on a drobo of mine yet, but will try after my latest backups.
(treejam thankfully make a free version of the basics, and theres also a portable-app version as well)
