If my Drobo dies and is no longer under warranty, what are my options for retrieving my data? Is there software that can access the data on the drives? Can I get another Drobo and stick the drives into that?

If something happens to your Drobo and it is out of warranty, your best option to retrieve the data is to migrate to a newer Drobo unit. We will assist you with migrating your data - including providing support as you move your old drives into the new unit, and any troubleshooting necessary.
