Hi,
I downloaded firmware 1.4 from Drobo’s website and installed it. I rebooted my Drobo V2. Dashboard (2.0.4) on MacOS 10.6.8 still reports I am using firmware 1.3.7.
Anyone experiencing something similar? is there any other way I can check the firmware version installed on my Drobo?
Thanks.
dashboard is always going to report it correctly
the firmware copies to drobo, then when it reboots it moves the firmware across to the “operational” part of the drobo
obviously that failed for some reason, so it just started up with your old firmware again
you can power it down and remove ALL of your drives and try updating the firmware with drobo empty
