TV app in Big Sur freezes

After the last two Big Sur updates, the TV app (formerly iTunes), freezes (not responding) with my Drobo 5D (using Thunderbolt) attached. My Drobo 5D appears on my Desktop and I’m able to access it, as I could normally do. If I disconnect my Drobo and/or connect another external hard drive (non-thunderbolt), the TV app works fine. Both Dashboard and firmware are up-to-date.
