Travelstar 5k1500 1.5TB 9.5mm and Drobo Mini

Hey,

The big reason I was passing on the Drobo Mini was the device only accepted 1TB 9.5mm drives. Now I’ve come across a HGST 1.5TB 9.5mm hard drive and need to know if the firmware has been updated to support this drive.

I hope Drobo finally support the newer drives because I’m still using a first gen. Drobo and would love to finally get a new Drobo.

I see no reason it wouldn’t support it. The only drives it rejected until now were ones that physically wouldn’t fit.
