I searched the forum on tranfer speed with the drobo, but did not find what I experienced, maybe someone else can replicate it. When I copy some GBs of data from my drobo to the SSD in the Mac Mini (Late 2014 16GB RAM) the first GB is tranferred in about 6 seconds
