Time machine won't run automatically

I’ve been using my new Drobo since last week. I created three partitions: one to carbon copy my main HD (250GB), one to store data (100GB) and the remain space to backup by Time Machine my main HD. I realized that Time Machine is not running automatically every hour. It runs automatically only when I turn on my iMac.

Why not? Am I missing something?

I’m confused, you don’t have your computer on when expecting Time Machine to run?

Jennifer, everytime when I turn on my computer the Time Machine runs. But it runs once, only when I turn on my computer. After that it doens’t run anymore. Have you got it?
