At first I forgot to put the root in and it gave me a man-in-the-middle warning. any help would be much appriciated

i have rebooted and this is what i get now

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
@ WARNING: REMOTE HOST IDENTIFICATION HAS CHANGED! @
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SOMEONE IS DOING SOMETHING NASTY!
Someone could be eavesdropping on you right now (man-in-the-middle attack)!
It is also possible that the RSA host key has just been changed.
The fingerprint for the RSA key sent by the remote host is
dc:2e:ee:83:e1:36:1xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
Please contact your system administrator.
Add correct host key in /Volumes/Macintosh HD 2/lilmill/.ssh/known_hosts to get rid of this message.

found my fix by reseting ssh
Open Terminal in the Applications > Utilities folder.

Type open .ssh in the terminal window then press the Return key. This opens the .ssh folder which contains the file known_hosts.
.
Drag known_hosts into the trash then close the .ssh folder.
Close Terminal.
Deleting known_hosts removes all host keys from your computer so all hosts you connect to will be treated as though you are connecting to them for the first time
