SSD Expansion

Hello, I’m considering an mSATA SSD for the 5N expansion bay.

1. Why would I want an mSATA SSD? What will an mSATA SSD do for me?; and
2. Is the difference between a 512 and 1TB mSATA SSD worth the money?
