Repeated "disk not ejected properly errors"

Drobo is connected and working. I get many “DISK NOT EJECTED PROPERLY” errors though the disk is still connected to the computer, unless it is disconnecting itself somehow and then reconnecting. I have been here when one showed up but never saw the Drobo disconnect. All light stayed lit and when I went to the disk it was accessible.

They seem to be happening on approximately hourly intervals: 1 hour, 3 hours, 2 hours, within minutes of those intervals.


Check if it is a faulty cable connection to your computer? Test with another cable to see it the error repeats itself. Also a full restart of the computer also tends to clean up software links with hardware.
