What is the standard process to removing smaller HD and adding larger hard drive?

Hello there,

Before the removal of any drives, ensure that the lights on it are not flashing orange and green.

You would want to remove the drive and replace it with another one under these conditions:

  1. All drive bay lights are green

  2. All drive bay lights are green except the one you intend to remove is either red or flashing red

Note: Do Not remove more than one drive each time. If your intention is to replace more than one drive, please remove it one at a time, and observe the lights on the drive showing the conditions I had mentioned above, before proceeding to replace it with another one.
