After my 5N2 died without warning, I had to buy an extremely expensive used one.
The unit is going through the “Data Protection” cycle - for about three days now. Because Drobo says I can access the data, I tried to log in The Drobo does not recognize my login information. When I try to reset the password, I get an error message that the unit may not be registered.
But when I tried to register the unit, I get an error message that it is already registered. The former owner has assured me that he contacted Drobo and “de-registered” the unit - it no longer shows up as one of his products.
I have written several times to Drobo support, with no answer.
Anyone have any suggestions?
