In the process of upgrading my drobo to 4tb drives.
I had a power cut last Saturday and for the past week it is saying around 500 hours to rebuild.
It has been a week and still says c.500 hours.
Any advice?
There’s something wrong. Maybe one of the drives is failing, maybe your DroboPro is “stuck.”
If you open a case with Tech Support and send them a diagnostic file, they can see if any drives are causing angst. I think they can also tell you how far your Drobo is through the rebuild process.
As a home remedy, you could shut down your DroboPro and pull power for a minute (to force a cold start), then power it back on and see if it makes better progress. You could also unmount the volumes from your computer so there’s no data activity to compete with the rebuild.
