Hi,
I am having a little problem accessing Drobo Apps, Tools and Drobo settings It’s as if I haven’t logged in to the dashboard but I have.
I have logged out and and back in but still the same. Rebooted the PC, un-installed the dashboard but still can’t access these areas?
I need to set-up a new user and edit permissions so could do with having access to this area again.
Has anybody else had this problem and now sorted it? Is there a different admin login to get to these areas - like a superuser access?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
Hi,
are the menu items (left side) are grayed out after you logged in?
Sounds like you’re using not the correct “Admin” user. An easy way to reconfirm that would be a try to mount the DroboApps share manually via SMB.
Mac OS:
smb:///DroboApps
Windows:
\\DroboApps
you should be asked for a user and a password, if the login doesn’t work you may not using the “Admin” crendentials.
Thank you,
Marvin

Thank you for your reply Marvin.
I will give that a try when I am in work tomorrow. If I am not using the right login with the right credentials how do I get it back to what it was before? Any idea?
Regards
Andy
You’re welcome,
just contact support and ask for a reset password (make sure your Drobo is registered) if you can’t access the share.
Once you did the password reset you should be able to login again with full access.
Thank you,
Marvin
thank you very much:) a password reset was what was needed.
