Hey there! I just recently purchased and setup my Drobo. I am running Windows 7. While using the dashboard I went to Drobo apps and downloaded Plex. I followed the steps to set up a connection for both my computer and my xbox one was able to make the connection and watch a video using plex on both devices.
So, the problem is that on the dashboard the application just keeps switching to stopped. When it does this, my computer and xbox can no longer view the drobo which of course prevents the playback of media.
I click start…it runs for 5 seconds to 1 minute then stops again (application is stopped).
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application several times. I have powered down and restarted the drobo several times. Nothing seems to work.
I would appreciate any assistance that you might be able to provide as plex is one of the main reasons that I wanted a drobo in order to create a media server for all my devices.
