I’m new to Drobo.
I have the Drobo 5N, 6TB. And I’m using the Drobo Dashboard 2.8.4 .
I’ve created a username and a folder share among 10 employees.
The folder name I’ve created is called “OFFICE”.
And beneath the folder “OFFICE” I’ve created the following folders:
- Job Desc
I have the permissions setup for “Read Only” for “Everyone” at the top level “OFFICE”.
However, I’m trying to create “Read and Write” for the folders below “OFFICE”. Such as, “Accounting”, I want to give some employees “Read and Write”, and no access to other employees.
And again, Everyone has read only under OFFICE, but no access to the “Finance” folder.
Is this possible using the “Drobo Dashboard”?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
