packing the drobo when moving

hey yall
i am moving across the country.
i have the new drobo 4 usb3
should i remove the drives from the drobo, or will it be safe to leave them in the device? the drobo will go into its original packaging, which will be inside another box. i am not concerned about the safety or well-being of the device, itll be fine.

let me know your thoughts.

Definitely take the drives out and pack them separately and securely. It doesn’t matter in which order you put them back in afterwards.
