I’ve installed nfs using “/usr/bin/DroboApps.sh install”
Within “/tmp/DroboApps/nfs/log.txt” I found the - same - messages:
…

By the way:
I have to create the folder DroboApps/nfs underneath /tmp manually
I may have started “/usr/bin/DroboApps.sh install” the very first time (weeks ago) as nonroot
Have you been able to solve the problem? I’m experiencing the same problem. Downloaded both the nfsd.bin and the nfs.tgz several times installed both rebooting and installing from the command line, and still getting the same error:
insmod: can’t insert ‘/mnt/DroboFS/Shares/DroboApps/nfs/modules/nfsd.ko’: invalid module format

If you are using firmware 3.2.0, you need version 1.3.2. NFSv3 1.3.2 should now be working on all platforms and firmware releases. Please download the latest version from DroboPorts: http://www.droboports.com/app-repository/nfs/
