Newbie. Assistance required.

I have aquired a Drobo from a friend who has recently upraded.
I have 3x WD Green Caviar 2TB drives and have been loading with movie files.
Overnight as I slept, i must have been reaching capacity. The Drobo unmounted and started flashing orange/green on the loaded drive bays and orange on the empty bay.
I did the safe shutdown and started up the drive and computer.
Now, the Mac Mini will not mount the Drobo and its volume is now called “disk2s2”. Mac Disk Utilities state “Error: This Disk needs to be repaired. Click Repair Disk”. But then states “Disk Utility can’t repair this disk…disk, ad restore your backed up files.”
Also, the Dashboard states the the drives are “safe” and near capacity but it also states that the Drobo is unformatted.
Is there a simple fix to this or am I going to have to start again from scratch? Is there anything I did wrong, just so I don’t screw it up again?!?!?!
AAARRRRGGGHHHH!!![hr]
Can anyone here read a diagnostic report? As this is a second hand unit, i have no support from DRI.

Also, when I try to open the DroboDiag report, the “console quit unexpectedly” and a report gets sent to Apple.

Any clues on what I should do now?

Data Robotics chose to obfuscate the diag file format. You can find a PHP script to read the diag here:

Thank you for the link and the quick reply.

Unfortunately, I am NOT computer savvy, hence, my purchase of a Mac and Drobo.

Is there a more layman’s instruction OR do I need to take this to an IT specialist? Basically, what I am saying, is my Drobo salvagable via this method if I get someone to read the diag. Or are my chances extremely thin?

Unfortunately, I don’t have much time so I may have to reformat. Ehh!!!
I discarded all the original source discs too. forehead slap

…unless someone out there can think of a better option…
