New dashboard still doesn't detect Drobo

I’m still having trouble where the dashboard (1.6.8) doesn’t detect the Drobo despite the fact that it’s mounted. A reboot fixes the problem but why is this still happening. Clearly, the drive is there.

Have you properly uninstalled and reinstalled dashboard?

I have a brand new Drobo v2, and installed Dashboard 1.6.8 on a Snow Leopard iMac which had never had any Drobo Dashbard installed, and have the same problem: every time the iMac wakes up from sleep, Dashboard doesn’t see the Drobo even though the drive is mounted in and accessible from the Finder.
