mySQL No Longer Starting After Improper Shutdown

I had a circuit breaker flip and it cut power to my Drobo 5N. There was no file transfer in progress. It restarted and everything came back online but the mySQL installation will not start. Everything else appears to be in working condition.

I’ve tried starting it from the Dashboard and command line.

I’ve uninstalled, and reinstalled and restarted multiple times. Nothing seems to work.

Please help!

Are you running the latest MySQL? There should be a “reset MySQL” command in the configuration page that will clean all of MySQL’s data, and revert it to a freshly installed state.

Warning: this will also reset all data that other apps might have in MySQL as well, such as DroboAccess. Please make sure that you backed up important information from other DroboApps before reseting MySQL.
