Mount Failed (after sudo install)

I just installed sudo on my Drobo FS, and now the Drobo does not mount. Small panic!!

To install sudo I used the instructions here:
http://www.droboports.com/app-repository/sudo-1-8-5p3

Everything happened as described at that link, up until the final command (rm /var/.passwd). That command failed with a ‘file not found’ error. Anyways, after that, I rebooted my Drobo, and went to SSH in, and got this:

:~ devon$ ssh root@192.168.0.99
ssh: connect to host 192.168.0.99 port 22: Connection refused
:~ devon$ ssh newuser@192.168.0.99
ssh: connect to host 192.168.0.99 port 22: Connection refused

Also, the Drobo Dashboard still shows the Drobo, but says Mount Failed. I am hoping there is someone with experience that can help me. I somehow messed up the ability for the system to mount itself, but not sure how…

The link below suggests using the ‘Repair’ feature in the Drobo Dashboard, but I want to see if there are any alternatives as I hate having to just click a button and cross my fingers, especially if I may not need it.

Thanks,
