I would like to migrate data from a Drobo S to a 5N. I don’t find any specific article on doing that migration on those 2 specific models. Do I just need to make sure I have the latest firmware and dashboard installed on both devices then shut them down and transfer the drives into the same bays? Thanks in advance.
DAS and NAS drobo devices use different drive format that is not compatible. Therefore you must transfer data via network.
hi just to add that there is a matrix page which shows some options you could do, such as a drobo-s into a 5D (if you do not specifically need a nas model)
