saw the technical bulletin about MACOS Ventura compatibility, and they cannot guarantee compatibility with future OS updates.
What is DROBO really saying here?
MAC OS Ventura and all future MACOS releases will not be compatible with DROBO? So I’d better find another network drive to back up my data? And scrap DROBO?
sound like they are obsoleting themselves from MACOS support from MACOS Ventura on.
This issue has been known for at least two years, if not longer… It is very disconcerting that they haven’t fixed it yet.
Flaming load of **** from a manufacturer who isn’t maintaining their software despite years of warning. I’m switching to Synology and won’t ever be coming back.
This is very concerning and I do not understand why there is not more communication from DROBO on this topic. I have tried to dig around and see if I am missing any alerts or possible solutions and I find nothing.
IF anyone has more information on this…please share. I have really liked my Drobo set up with multiple 5D3 machines, but need to look for other options if MAC OS is not supported any more. Sadly! Thx. Michael
I think drobo is bankrupt. Drobos have not been available for years and there is nothing new either. It would be nice if they at least released the software on Github or something, because Beyond RAID in this form is unique!
