Lost Location of folders / Drobo 5d / Lightroom

Hi,

One month of my image archive folders which were stored on my Drobo has lost it’s location. I’m using Lightroom and it can’t locate the folders for October 2014. Neither can I see them with Finder.

I have located the files with a software iSkySoft data recover, and found all the files on a folder on my Drobo named “lost locations” and than subfolders temp431117 and so on…

I saw all NEF and TIFF image files in these folders, with the correct filename and it looked like they had correct filesize. But the problem was that neither Photoshop or Lightroom couldn’t open the images.

Anyone who has any ideas? could I get another result using another software like Datarescue or Diskwarrior?

You ran Disk Utility on the Drobo and it came back with no errors?

If you have Disk Warrior, I would try that next.

Last Drobo for me…

No errors on Drobo. With ISkysoft datarecovery than the folders are there, even though other software cant see them. Trying to recover the folders, but non of the NEF or TIFF files cant be opened…

…does not recognize this type of file…
