Hi,

Just a quickie. Am I correct in assuming that if I connect an Xserve and two DroboPro’s to a gigabit switch (separate LAN with static IP addresses) then then the Xserve will identify both devices and be able to work with them?

That is correct. Just make sure each unit has a unique name so Dashboard doesn’t have problems keeping them separate.
