I got a notification yesterday that one of my drives failed and the Drobo 5N has entered data protection mode. The four good drives are blinking green/amber while the failed drive is blinking red. The Drobo keeps restarting itself, which concerns me. I have a new drive arriving today and I’d like to get it in there as soon as possible. Is it safe to swap out the failed drive when the lights are blinking on the other four?
