HFS+ "bit rot": Can a Drobo 5N make HFS+ reliable

My previous thread about avoiding HFS drew no responses; Perhaps I was asking the wrong question?

So knowing the HFS+ suffers statistically from “bit rot”, can I use a Drobo 5N to make my filesystem reliable? …does the hybrid RAID, or any other mode of usage, make the storage reliable so that HFS+ lack of bit-rot-detection irrelevant?
