My old Gen 1 USB worked until a drive died. After replacing the bad drive, it doesn’t mount, and Dashboard does not see the Drobo. I am on a Mac with OS X 10.11. Will any Dashboard and firmware work? Grateful for any help.
hi thomas, can you post back with any other information about all steps you took or noticed, when replacing that drive?
usually if one of the drives has a failure the data should still be accessible in most cases, though can i check how many drives you have in your drobo 5D, and also what each light is showing or doing?
also, what happens if you try exiting dashboard completely, and then relaunching it?
