Frist time use but cant connect with my 5N

We are now setting up simple office.
This is our situation
Using PC and connected with router DES-1008a (Dlink)
and all connected with LAN cables then I use the Drobo 5N and connected with DES-1008a
Then I put 3TB hdd inside the drobo but the lamp is Red, and always Red…

Installed the drobo Dashboard 2.5.3
but I cant connected … “there is no drobos Detected”
I tried also connect directly with LAN cable to my computer and its couldn’t connected also.

Please Help me with this issue…

hi, from a connection point of view, there might be an option in dashboard to manually specify the ip of the drobo.
i think some other people have had problems when trying to automatically assign an ip
