Guys,
I have two drobos attached to a mac mini running mountain lion. One is a V1 and one is a V2.
On the V1 I am getting all the drive lights flash red and then green. The last time I had this a reboot resolved it. But this time that hasn’t worked.
Any ideas ?
Is this a filesystem corruption issue or a physical drive fault ?

If they’re flashing orange and green, that sounds like Drobo is rebuilding the array after a drive fault. Red and green, I don’t know.
Does this Drobo seem to boot normally? Can you access the volumes on the Drobo? Does DashBoard see the Drobo?
If none of the above, shut down the Drobo and remove all disks, then try booting again to see what happens. Of course, remove all disks at once and reinsert them all together.
When in doubt, open a support case with Drobo. You need to know what’s in your diagnostics. (I realize the V1 is out of support, but they’re still locking up those vital diags. I expect they’ll do The Right Thing and help you see what’s in there.)
The drobo seems to boot fine, and I can see the data on the drive fine. Dashboard is a little strange as the version of the dashboard only supports the V2 drobo. I think I raised a call the last time this happened and I sent a diag to drobo but they said that there was no problems.
Red then Green? Never heard of that state. Definitely open a support case.
