I have been trying for several hours to get Firefly to work - No success. I have read through dozens of posts about how to install it etc including one on creating an iTunes folder with an iTunes Music subfolder, editing the .conf file etc.
The issue - When I try to connect to http://192.168.1.100:3689 - I always get Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at 192.168.1.10:3689. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, edited paths etc - Still not luck. The admin app works fine but no luck on firefly.
can anyone please shed some light on this? I should add - The one message consistent in the mt-daapd.log file is:
2009-11-15 13:47:28: Rendezvous socket closed (daap server crashed?) Aborting.
