Drobo

Error trying to use FCPX

Hello,

I recently got a new iMac to replace my old one. I have been using my Drobo 5N2 for years without any issues with FCPX. I store my libraries on my Drobo and still have been able to edit them. I’m now getting a new error that says “Unsupported volume type. Chose a local, SAN, or supported SMB location.” when trying to open a library in FCPX. I was able to get around it by navigating to the library in Finder then double clicking to open it. Now for some reason that no longer works. Can anyone help?

Also, it appears as though my Drobo now unmounts itself when my iMac goes to sleep. Maybe it’s related?

Thanks,
Ray
