Error message when saving photos to folder on 5D

For the first time ever, I am receiving an error message when attempting to copies raw photo files from my Compact Flash card to a folder on the Drobo 5D.

I receive the following error message:
“Cannot create the specified file. The file name is invalid or you do not have the permission to save to the specified directory.”

I know the file name is NOT invalid because I’ve successfully downloaded the images to other folders.

It’s only when I try to download files to the Drobo that I have problems.

I have an iMac and running Yosemite 10.10.3 and Adobe Bridge CC

Help, please.

Have you tried copying the files to your local HDD 1st and then from there to the Drobo?
