Drobo Shares

Hey guys and gals,

I’m new here so go easy on me!

I just want to find out how to mount one folder (that includes sub folders inside) through drobo dashboard and windows 10.

Currently my whole drobo is mounted a share in windows - I want to make multiple mounts from within drobo so “Music” for example and “Movies”

The reason I would like to do this is I use the open source music software “volumio” and I would just like that to add my music folder only within drobo, currently it is mounting the whole drive and it’s unneccessary.

I did a search but couldn’t find anything to help me out here.

Anything anyone can do would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. I am using a Drobo 5N with the latest dashboard and firmware as of today, through windows 10.

hi nomansky, while i only have the Das models of drobo, i think this could be achieved by creating a new share and user, for example as mentioned here:
http://dashboardhelp.drobo.com/guide/250/en/5N_Creating_and_Using_Shares.htm

(rather than moving data from 1 share to another, its probably best to try and make sure the data you want to be present, is on the 2nd share and working ok, before deleting anything from the 1st share, also after rebooting the devices just to be sure)
