I have my drobo s hooked up to windows home server 2011. I just installed a rosewell 226 controller card. I have everything hooked up and dashboard will not find my drobo. Any suggestions?

hi, i had problems using esata with my drobo s, and in the end was happy enough with usb3.
have you tried restarting the dashboard (after fully exiting it including its service)? it might help a bit
Not all eSATA controllers support the “sideband” data that Drobo Dashboard uses for communication. Best to connect via USB when you need Drobo Dashboard.
But as Paul mentioned, if you have a Drobo S 2nd generation model, you have USB 3.0 and that should give you full performance as well.
