Drobo S & Mac OS Monterey Issues

I have a Drobo S & am recently running Monterey.

  • The Drobo mounts in Safe Mode with no issue, but will not mount, and is not visible after a standard restart.
  • When trying to update Dashboard (any version) I get a “package incompatible with this OS” message, so I am unable to update firmware as well.

Any help/advice is appreciated.

UPDATE:
I appears there is a known bug in Monterey regarding USB devices in general. I’m not a tech-guy, so not sure how this coincides with still mounting in Safe Mode.

Still leaves the issue of installer compatibility.

Did you ever get a resolution on you Drobo mounting issue or has Monterey been updated for a fix? I’ve been holding off on going to Monterey, becaus when I upgraded to Big Sur, I had problems for months and I don’t want it to happen again.

I ended up downgrading back to Big Sur and have not had the issue.
I haven’t looked again to see if they have addressed the issue in Monterey.
