Drobo Mini power adapters

Hi everyone,

I want to buy a second power adapter for my Drobo Mini to keep at my office. The model number indicated on the power supply that came with my Mini is EA1071C. I’ve found an original (i.e., not third-party) one on Ebay with a part number of EA1098F that indicates that it’s for a Drobo Mini.

Does anyone know if that should work with my Mini despite the different part number?

Although my own unit is NOT a mini but a series 2 I just purchased a replacement AC adapter from ebay and simply looked for one offering the correct voltage and sufficient power rating - in my case 12v 7A.

The one on ebay was listed under Drobo but is clearly not OE - it does however appear to be doing the job.
