Hi,
I’ve got a Drobo with 2 LUNs, both NTFS. I recently had to move this from a Windows server to a Ubuntu server (Karmic:9.10).
I’m unable to mount the 2nd LUN.
fdisk -l returns this:
Disk /dev/sdb: 2199.0 GB, 2199023185920 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 267349 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Disk identifier: 0xace81d6e
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sdb1 1 267350 2147480576 7 HPFS/NTFS
Warning: invalid flag 0x0000 of partition table 5 will be corrected by w(rite)
Disk /dev/sdc: 2199.0 GB, 2199023185920 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 267349 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x264387f5
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sdc1 2 267349 2147472810 f W95 Ext’d (LBA)
So it appears that it doesn’t see the 2nd lun as NTFS. Windows disk manager confirms for me that it is.
Any ideas? I wish I had another repository with enough space to migrate the data off of the drobo so I could reformat with LUNSIZE=8tb & ext3, but I do not.
