Drobo Gen 2 and Mojave?

My Gen 2 has been acting up since I attached it to an iMac running on Mojave. It will read and write, but I can’t eject it manually, and if it isn’t working, it seems to go to sleep or shut down. The apps I use (Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop) will try to use it and become unresponsive. The only thing I can do is to unplug the Drobo from the power, and then reboot it and it is recognized by my apps until it is unused for an indeterminate amount of time. Is there a fix for this?

It has worked flawlessly when it was running on High Sierra.

Hello, I’m landing here because I was searching if there is a way to make Gen 2 works on Mojave like unofficialy routine etc. So I reply to you: you have to know that on the Drobo websites they say :

Which Drobo’s are Compatible With Mojave?
DAS: Drobo Gen 3, 5C, 5D, 5Dt & 5D3
NAS: Drobo 5N, 5N2, B810n
SAN: Drobo B810i

So Gen 2 seems to be not compatible and I presume it can acts weirdly, it could even possibly not be able to recover your data, I don’t know but there is a potential risk here.

Anybody has more info ?

I ran a generation 2 on mojave, Hi Sierra, and now Catalina. It has worked fine for me, but I have a carbon copy clone of the Drobo just in case.
