Anyone able to mount their Gen 2 on Catalina?
I have tried with a USB C adapter and no luck.

Why not plug it into the USB port? I have a Gen 2 plugged from USB 2 in the back of the iMac using the cable that came with the Drobo Gen 2. Gen 2’s are pretty slow and you won’t get a speed advantage of plugging it into a USB-C port.
