Drobo 2nd Gen very slow file transfer rates

I’m trying to copy 1TB of data to a shared drive on another machine

When I transfer from a standard USB drive I get upto 10MB/sec transfer rates, on the Drobo it’s averaging 3MB/sec regardless of whether I use USB 2 or FireWire 800

It’s really frustrating and will end up taking me days!

Any ideas?

What brand, size and speed drives are you using? Have you tried different port, different cable? Any other programs trying to access the disks?
