Drives won't stay mapped on Windows

In a workgroup I try and map drobo drives using various names and it will never stay connected after reboot or deep sleep on Windows 7 Pro.

The drobo name is fs01 with a FQDN of fs01.example.net and a CNAME of files.example.net. My workgroup is EXAMPLE.

I have tried mapping the drives as EXAMPLE\User, User, MYPC\User to files.example.net and to fs01 and none work. It may appear to work in testing but after a few ways it won’t stay connected and will start asking the users for the password again.

Does anyone have a way to map drives without installing the drobo dashboard?

Just treat the Drobo B800fs or Drobo ProFS as a normal windows file server…do what you do for normal Widnows networking… mapped drive. No need dashboard.
