I recently ported my drobo over to my Macbook Pro running 10.8.5 adding a huge amount of images to my LR5 database during this process one of the drives failed. I noticed that my internal HD was filling up and I had to delete some older files to make room for the process to continue. All went well and I was able to add a new drive and the drobo seems to be fine. When checking out my internal drive I found a folder named Disk Repair that contained some 200+ GB of mostly image files they seem to be duplicates of files stored elsewhere on the system (on Drobo) I have copied them onto an external disk as a caution and deleted them from my internal drive to gain needed headroom. Does anyone know where this folder came from? and if it can be safely trashed?
