Dashboard 1.7.2 preventing OS X from automatically going to sleep?

Hi everyone,

It appears that my Mac doesn’t go to sleep with Drobo Dashboard 1.7.2 installed. I can force it to sleep, but the settings in the Energy Saver preferences pane are not respected.

This seems to be confirmed by the fact that
a) the Console does show frequent (1/min or more) DDServiced activity, so this could be resetting the sleep timer
b) sleep works again after I uninstall Drobo Dashboard

Is this a known issue?

Thanks,
Raphael

Just tested and it worked. My mac goes to sleep and dashboard 1.7.2 is installed and running.

Thanks for the test – is this running 10.6.4?

Yes it is.

I’ll look into it some more. Apologies for raising a possible non-existent issue.
