I have got the afp share working using BackMyFruitUp - This is excellent as it seems to me that files transfers are faster between my iMac and the Drobo using afp and it opens up the Drobo as a TimeMachine destination. This is all great stuff!
However, does anyone know if it is possible to tell OSX to ignore the Drboshares SMB share? Having the SMB and AFP shares appearing in the ‘Shared’ folder confuses things, especially as the SMB share automounts, creating two mount point to the same Drobo…
Any ideas?
