I am setting up a new B810n with 4 WD RED 4 TB drives. After the initial firmware update the system failed to mount. I read in the kb to remove the drives, manually update the firmware, reboot, turn off, install drives, turn on. This process did not solve the problem and the unit still fails to mount.
The drobo health status is critical and all the drives show good in the drobo status screen.
I submitted a support case yesterday, but haven’t heard back from them yet.
I have another B810n that works just fine and 2 B800fs that work just fine.
