B800i crash ? And can't reach it until manual reboot.

Hello everyone !

I’m here because my drobo b800i experiment some crash/connection issues from few month now. The product work good and sometime become unreachable, backup job failed (that’s the critical part) and i have to reboot my drobo manually.

Before someone ask, yes i do upgrade my dashboard software and drobo firmware to the last version =)

Here some intel: The dashboard work on a virtual windows 2008R2 server 64x. VM run on Esxi 5.5 update1 server.

Did anyone experiment this kind of problem ? Or have some idea to fix it ?

ESXi 5.0 and above is not officially supported on the Drobo B800i, that could be the case.

First, thanks for your answer !

It could be the case, except we don’t run the VM on the drobo. We have 3 blade servers DELL and 2 SAN IBM dedicated for this. We use the drobo only to save our VM with veam backup.
The drobo is used as NAS.

Someone have an other idea ?
