Just wondering what everyone’s situation was with regard to running Apache on the FS and the 5N. I mentioned on a previous thread that I struggled with Apache on the 5N, and Ricardo did point out that there appeared to be conflicts with the existing HTTPd running on the 5N. However, since then I tried to revert to using Apache on the FS, which I’m sure I’ve used OK in the past, but I now struggle with the same inability to serve a page that I experienced on the 5N.
Has something changed fundamentally with how DroboApps can bind to port 80 recently, or have I just gone slightly mad with old age? Both my FS and 5N are on current firmware and with new disk-packs, and both can run the DroboAdmin App if I install it, but neither will allow Apache to serve a default page from port 80…

Status is as it was the last time: my plan is to rename the app to “apache2” and avoid interfering with the stealth apache app altogether.
As for serving pages from port 80, that looks like configuration problems. I suggest looking at the Apache docs for help with that.
